PSI Leadership Workshop (CAS Leadership Science: Part 2 CAS)
Beschreibung

Short description
This is the CAS-Part of the leadership training "Leadership in Science" and is primarily aimed at new executives, whether in a project management role or as direct line managers.
The demands placed on managers in the scientific environment are becoming increasingly complex and challenging. This two-part modular course (separate registrations required) is aimed at people with managerial responsibilities in scientific/technical environments, whether in their role as project managers or as direct line managers. Supervised by experienced leaders, you will expand your professionalism in leadership and communication. Course participants can improve their knowledge through an analysis project in their own organisation and learn to apply the acquired skills in their professional environment.

Content
This training consists of a compulsory basic part and an optional CAS part (separate registrations required), each lasting three two-day sessions. It includes new forms of learning (blended learning).
Part 2 (CAS) 6 days: Those who successfully pass the CAS complete an internationally recognised leadership training. You learn to skilfully manage changes/adjustments (change management)and get to know methods such as the 'morphological box', the cause-effect diagram, the direttissima approach. In addition, you professionalise your presentation technique and self-presentation skills.

Goals
By the end of the course, you will be aware of your personal strengths and weaknesses and be able to deploy your capabilities in a targeted way.

Target audience
This course is primarily aimed at new executives, whether in a project management role or as direct line managers. Only those who have completed the basic part can take part in the CAS part.

Continuing / Advanced courses
Attendance of the preceding advanced course (basic part) is a compulsory prerequisite for attending the CAS part of the course.

English, but this course is also offered in German

Requirements for participants
Several years of professional experience as well as the willingness for challenging further education with a high self-reflective component.
You have a management position or you are designated for a management position.
To be able to complete Part 2 (CAS), a university degree or a higher vocational education qualification is required. Attendance of the preceding advanced course (basic part) is also a comulsory prerequisite for attending the CAS part.
The registration remains provisional until you receive the definitive confirmation of registration. This is done in consultation with the respective HR management.

cost
CAS-part: CHF 2'500.-. In agreement with the direct executive, the upgrade to CAS can be completed; funding is at the expense of the organisational unit affected.
