Gas cylinders are used in many types of activities, experiments and processes. Besides the benefits, however, there are also various risks associated with them and correct behaviour is necessary. You will learn about these risks and how to deal with them. The general properties of gases, handling, but also the storage of different gases are discussed.

The participants

- know the hazards of working with gas cylinders, can assess them handle them safely
- know how to transport gas cylinders
- learn special rules for handling flammable, corrosive and toxic gases
- learn the theoretical principles of changing a gas cylinder safely
- know how to behave in case of emergency
